In a survey by the Retail Advertising and Marketing Association (RAMA), consumers judged print media more effective than e-mail or Internet ads in affecting their shopping habits.
Five kinds of print media were sited as more influential than electronic advertising. 60% were Printed Catalogs, 24% were Retail Settings and 9% were Internet Presence.
Unlike print, electronic ads can be blocked -- or simply blocked out. And there’s still a degree of credibility that e-media has yet to fully earn.
